We expect that our school will have a positive environment where everyone displays responsibility, respect, and cooperation.  A community atmosphere exists through parental support and involvement, as well as community use of the building.

The mission of the Pine Valley Elementary School is to provide a comprehensive and academically challenging education for all students in an atmosphere that will stimulate and nurture the student's intellectural, moral, social and physical development in order to prepare each student for responsible participation in the American democratic society.

The Pine Valley Elementary School has a unique relationship with SUNY Fredonia.  In addition to student teachers, beginning music education students visit the school and teach lessons in the classrooms.  We also partner with Fredonia State's International Student Teaching program.  Student teachers from the Swansea Institute of Higher Education come to Pine Valley Elementary School every spring.
