Fourth Graders take on STEAM

Our fourth graders are turning into little engineers!

During the first full week of school, Miss Zyhowski and Mrs. Park challenged students to build the tallest tower they could or a bridge between two tables, using only toothpicks and mini marshmallows.

Students worked in teams to design, build and tweak their ideas, and then reflected on their successes, goals, and levels of cooperative teamwork when they were finished!

What a great activity for the fourth graders!
