As the start of the 2023-2024 academic year at Pine Valley Central School District approaches, our Board of Education has an update for our community about the ongoing search for a new Superintendent of Schools.

Mr. James E. Przepasniak is currently guiding Pine Valley CSD as interim superintendent following the departure of Ms. Bryna Moritz, who began working as Deputy Superintendent for Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES in August 2023.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘
The search for a visionary leader to guide Pine Valley CSD is led by Dr. David O’Rourke, District Superintendent and Chief Executive Officer of E2CCB.

The superintendent application deadline is Friday, September 8, 2023, with the Pine Valley Board of Education set to begin reviewing applications on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Preliminary interviews are scheduled October 23-25, 2023, and final interviews are planned November 6-8, 2023. A superintendent appointment is anticipated on or before December 1, 2023. If all goes according to schedule, Pine Valley CSD expects a new superintendent to begin by January 1, 2024.
