Sponsors Sought for Spring Production

Rehearsals for Pine Valley Jr./Sr. High School’s production of the spring musical comedy “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” kicked off Monday, November 27, 2023, and our talented students are seeking the community’s support.

The cast and crew are selling patron ads and business ads to help with funding the production.

“We cannot put on a production for the school without the support of local businesses and the community,” says play producer and art teacher Caitlin Sengbusch. “We deeply appreciate your support through purchasing ads for the program, donating to our production, or selling us supplies.”

Businesses may design their own ad using their company’s name and logo, business card, and/or graphics. Families and friends are encouraged to share expressions of good luck to the cast and crew or to an individual.

All money raised through program ads directly offset the cost of the production. The deadline to purchase an ad is Friday, March 8, 2024. More details about ad design and pricing are available via these linked forms:

“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous middle school. Six quirky adolescents compete in the bee run by three equally quirky grown-ups. The production will be staged Friday and Saturday, March 22-23, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Pine Valley Jr./Sr. High School.
