Emily Librock, a second grade teacher at Pine Valley Elementary School, is this week’s #PeopleBehindThePanther spotlight!

Just finishing her first year at PVCS, Emily says the “best part of my day is reading with my students.”

“I love watching how this time builds our classroom community, strengthens friendships, and shows the growth of the students. The small class sizes here at Pine Valley allow me the time to read individually with students often, which provides a wonderful opportunity to check in with each student and their lives. It truly feels like a class family.”

She values being outdoors in nature and working with technology.

“I love being able to incorporate these into my teaching and share the things that bring me joy with my students. I am so thankful to be welcomed into such an amazing district this year. I look forward to the many years to come!”
