This fall, Pine Valley had planned to kick off a community book study on The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt — a chance for families, staff, and community members to come together and talk about challenges we face in today’s digital world.
We were also looking forward to hosting Tanner Clark for a community night in September. Unfortunately, travel issues kept him from joining us — but he’s made it up to us in a big way! 🎉
Tanner has generously offered Pine Valley families free access to his online course, 4Mmethod: Parenting in the Digital Age.
So, we’re adjusting our plan a bit! We’ll start together with Tanner’s course, sharing reflections and insights from our leadership team along the way. We will use the ParentSquare platform and share out to social media. Then, we’ll follow it up with our book study of The Anxious Generation to keep the conversation going.
We’re excited to take this journey together — learning, connecting, and finding ways to help our kids thrive in a digital world. 💜🐾
