Registration – New Students

Welcome to the Pine Valley Central School District! We are excited to welcome new students and their families to our district.

If you have recently moved into the district and need to register your child(ren), please review the information below.

Registration is handled through the District Central Registrar and is by appointment only. Please call-in advance to schedule an

appointment before arriving at the District Office.

Registration Packets

UPK–12 registration packets are available by calling ahead to ensure one is available for pickup or by scheduling an appointment if you

would like assistance with the registration process.

Registration appointments are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please call before stopping by

to ensure someone is available to assist you.

You may also download the required forms by selecting the Registration Packet link. Once the forms have been completed, you may email them to Jackdaleth Montiel EMAIL before your scheduled appointment.

Families who are new to the district are encouraged to register their child(ren) as soon as possible to help ensure a smooth enrollment process.

Documentation is required when registering students who are new to the district. Please be prepared to provide the required registration documents at the time of enrollment.

Proof of Residency

The following documents may be used to establish a student's residency within the Pine Valley Central School District. This list provides guidance regarding the documentation that may be submitted by a parent or guardian.

You must provide at least one (1) document from each of the three (3) categories below. The Superintendent's designee may request additional documentation if necessary to verify residency.

1. Proof of Parent or Guardian Identity

Documentation must be valid at the time of submission. Any identification showing an address (such as a driver's license) must display your current address.

Provide one (1) of the following:

  • Passport
  • State-issued driver's license
  • State-issued non-driver identification card

2. Proof of Residency and Supporting Documentation

Provide one (1) of the following:

  • Deed
  • Executed lease or rental agreement
    • The lease or rental agreement must be current. An expired or unsigned lease cannot be accepted as proof of residency.
    • The lease or rental agreement must include the landlord's name and contact information and be signed by all parties.
    • If the landlord's contact information is not included, the parent or guardian must provide the landlord's name and telephone number for verification purposes.
  • Property tax bill
    • The parent or guardian's billing address must match the residence address. If the addresses do not match, additional supporting documentation will be required.
  • HUD housing documents
  • Closing statement for the residence

3. Supporting Documentation

The district may require one or more of the following documents to verify residency:

  • Utility bill showing your name, service address, and billing address
  • Vehicle registration
  • Government benefit document
  • Notarized statement from the landlord
  • Payroll stub
  • Other documentation deemed necessary by the district to establish residency

Additional Documents Required for Student Registration

Please bring the following documents when registering your child:

  • Original birth certificate
  • Current immunization record from your child's healthcare provider
  • Most recent report card from the previous school
    • High school students must also provide an official transcript showing all credits earned from Grades 8–12.
  • Custody or guardianship papers (if applicable)
  • Current Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Section 504 Plan (if applicable)

  2. Appointment Hours
    Registration appointments are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  3. Bring Completed Registration Forms
    Please bring all completed registration forms with you to your appointment.
  4. Provide Required Documentation
    Please bring all required proof of residency and other registration documents, as outlined above, to your appointment.

 

TUITION

The Pine Valley Central School District welcomes tuition students when space is available and with the approval of the Superintendent.

Tuition rates for out-of-district students are established annually. The tuition rate for the current school year is:

  • UPK–12: $2,000 per student
