Pine Valley currently subscribe to the newest version of Reading Counts. This gives our district access to all quizzes that are available through Scholastic's Reading Counts program. There are over 58,000 quizzes available. We also receive monthly updates. The easiest way to find out if a book has a Reading Counts quiz is through the Scholastic Book Expert website.
The program will run from October to March with students having the opportunity to earn a free pizza each month. Students will need to read four books each month to reach their goals and earn free pizza. Students that meet their goal all six months will receive an additional prize.
