         I have taught Pre-K for 16 out of my 23 years of teaching. I love being a part of the learning and growing process during the first year in school. The other 7 years, I taught 5th/6th/7th/ 8th, 1st, and Kindergarten.
         We use The Creative Curriculum in our pre-kindergarten programs. It is a play-based whole child program that focuses on the social/ emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development of children. We will learn through playing in classroom centers designed to encourage creativity, asking questions, and investigation. Our units of study will include Trees, Buildings, Water, Wheels, and Balls.
         It will be a busy year of playing, learning, and growing so let's get started!
