Mrs. Wulf
Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child! It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.
I grew up in Angola, NY (south of Buffalo). I graduated from Medaille College with my Bachelors in Early and Elementary Education. I have my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. I am very excited to be teaching at Pine Valley this year! I am the second oldest child (of 4) with an older brother, Daniel and (2) younger brothers Matthew and Nathan. I'm very lucky to be an aunt to 5 (3 girls, 2 boy..and one more on the way) very energetic young children! This will be my first year teaching 4th grade at Pine Valley!! I have 6 years of teaching experience in different districts throughout Western New York. I absolutely love teaching 4th graders! I have had the opportunity to work with 4th graders quite a bit over the last 6 years. It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I strive to always show my passion for education when I teach so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners, like I have.
Aside from teaching my #1 favorite hobby is...to travel! Other hobbies that I enjoy are knitting, scrapbooking, socializing and reading! Travel is my #1 because, I enjoy learning about different places and time periods. I like reading travel books and researching different cultures, countries and cities; their past, present and future! But, the best part of traveling is visiting new countries, experiencing their culture and learning all that the world has to offer through first hand experiences!! One of my favorite aspects of traveling to a new country, is that I am able to learn and broaden my horizons, so that I may bring those experiences back to my classroom and share them with my students!
Please let me know if you have any questions/or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need! I look forward to a great year together!
Cheers!
