Learn about Mrs. Raetz

Hello! My name is Mrs. Raetz. I have been teaching at Pine Valley since 2004. I taught AIS Math for one year, first grade for sixteen years and now I am excited to be teaching sixth grade. I have lived in the district for twenty-six years. I have two amazing sons. I graduated from Suny Fredonia in 2004 with my bachelor's in elementary education. In 2007 I received my masters in curriculmn and instruction from Suny Fredonia. From the beginning of my teaching career, I have been a huge supporter of frequent teacher-home communication. It is my hope that this will be the start of a great deal of dialogue and communication between us. We will discuss your child, what we are learning in class and ways that you can support your child's learning at home. My door is always open.
